First Visit
On your initial visit, an examination will be taken to determine your oral condition. You will then be given a brief explanation of our dental services. You may ask any questions you might have and we will help you to the best of our abilities. Normally, the dental treatment can be performed and completed on the same day of the examination. But, in case your dental condition is severe, a second visit will be required since the treatment plan will need an evaluation first before proceeding on the actual procedure. The therapy will be conducted on your second appointment.
On your first day of consultation, you will be asked for the following information:
- X-rays conducted by a previous dental specialist (if applicable).
- List of medicines you are currently taking.
- In case you have a dental insurance plan, we advise you to take the required completed forms with you to save time. Also, we will be able to assist you in processing your claims.
IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must be present for all patients under 18 years old.
If you have a medical condition such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, or rheumatic fever, please let us know before the treatment. Also, if you are currently taking medication like heart medications, aspirin, or anticoagulant therapy.
X-Rays
If your dentist has already taken x-rays, you may ask them to send your x-rays to our office or you may also pick them up and bring them to our office. Additional x-rays can be taken at our office in case they’re required.
